Lots of things have been happening over here at PeepMe HQ and we thought it would be the perfect time to give you the scoop.
Year in review
In May of 2020 we started down this path and have had our share of bumps and heartaches, peppered with the occasional laughter and silliness. You would never guess that launching an Adult start-up seeking to undermine the way a whole industry operates would be so hard. Nevertheless, we have persisted, fallen, gotten back up, dusted ourselves off, learned from our mistakes, and continue to move forward.
To that end, we have updated our Mission, Vision, and Values, and wanted you to be the first to read all about them.
PeepMe Virtual Salons
As part of our ongoing efforts, we will be hosting a series of live salons to talk about what we are doing and our vision for the future of the adult industry. Check out our live event schedule here. If you would like an invite, feel free to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We hope you will join us!
We have started production on our MVP, and the estimated launch is this summer!!!
The PeepMe Prototype Is Ready For Your Test Drive
Our interactive prototype is ready and we would love your input. Are you interested in giving it a test drive? If so – fill out this form here.
Fiscal Sponsorship through Fractured Atlas
Fractured Atlas is one of the largest arts organizations in the U.S. and we are excited to announce that they have agreed to be our fiscal sponsor for our upcoming fundraising campaign. We are incredibly honored and deeply grateful to have the support of this incredible organization that sees our project as a way to support adult creatives of all types!
PeepMe Fundraising Campaign
We have experienced significant barriers to access to institutional funding due to antiquated beliefs, vice clauses, stigma, but most of all because we are purpose-driven, not profit-driven. Not in the traditional sense anyway. Institutional investors expect a return on their investment in the form of dividends from the profit of the company. However, as an Exit to Cooperative endeavor, our plan is to share the profit with our creators and workers leaving very little for possible investors. Which is as it should be.
This has made it difficult to harness the resources necessary to get us up and running including paying our people a thriving wage to work on this project.
We believe we can do this but we will need your help. Your donations will help us usher in a historical change in how the adult industry operates. By applying a cooperative model, PeepMe Creators and workers will not only have a voice in decision-making, but they will also benefit the most from the profit of this company.
And this is where you come in. On May 15th we will be launching our funding campaign to support our efforts to build the first sex worker-owned and operated platform cooperative.
You will have a few options.
Fractured Atlas – You can make a tax-deductible donation via our page on Fractured Atlas.
Or you can support our IndieGoGo campaign launching on May 15th – which comes with Community Membership perk – As part of the PeepMe platform, we will be launching a Community Membership Page. This membership page will give you access to an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at everything we are doing, including posts by our team members, invites to virtual events hosted by members of the PeepMe team, invites to our All PeepMe team meets, interviews with our new creators, and special sneak previews of content created by our fave new creators. You can pre-purchase a community membership by donating to our IndieGoGo campaign.
